Overview

Greece Leisure Visit Visa is granted for leisure travel purposes only, such as holidays, sightseeing, visiting friends and/or relatives, and other leisure activities. If during any stage of their visit to Greece the applicant intends to undertake business or official commitments, this must be done in accordance with other relevant visa sections.

When visa applications are received by the Visa Application Centre, they will be sent to the Greek Embassy in Tripoli. After that, the embassy can contact the applicant directly for a personal interview if necessary, or for any additional inquiries. Once the Embassy of Greece has finished evaluating the application, the relevant decisions and documents will be available for collection at the Visa Application Centre.

Businessmen/self-employed people:

– Work license (translated into English).
– Chamber of Commerce (translated into English).
– Commercial register (translated into English).
– The company’s latest tax receipt (translated into English).
- Recent invoices or any other papers proving the existence of commercial exchanges by the Libyan company with a company or companies abroad or internally, or both (translated into English).
– Company account statement for the last 6 months (translated into English).
– Personal bank statement for the last 6 months (translated into English).

Retirees:

– The pensioner’s card/certificate or his partner’s certificate.

Wife (housewife):

– An acknowledgment of financial responsibility for travel and accommodation costs signed by the spouse or parent and notarized, in addition to proof of their income (work certificate, salary slips).

Personal documents:

– For single people: birth certificate (translated into English).
– For married people: family status (translated into English).
– (2) photos with a white background.
– Passport (must contain at least two blank pages and have an expiry date of at least 3 months after the end of travel).
– A copy of the relevant pages of the passport and previous Schengen visas.

Minor children:

– Sign the visa application and submit it in the presence of the parents, attaching the family status certificate.

– Student card, school attendance certificate, confirmed certificate of registration at school/university.
