The State of Palestine is located on the continent of Asia, and it is one of the countries of the Middle East, as it is located between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. The State of Palestine is distinguished by its strategic geographical location, as it is bordered by Jordan to the east, the Mediterranean Sea to the west, Lebanon to the north, and the Najaf Desert and the Gulf of Aqaba from The south, and both Syria and Egypt are considered neighboring countries to Palestine, as they are located on the borders of Palestine. Palestine is called the Holy Land, as it is the subject of interest for Muslims, Christians, and Jews.

Palestine is one of the important tourist areas in the Arab Levant due to the abundance and diversity of tourist places and the abundance of ancient monuments, shrines, summer resorts, hammamets, natural resorts, and sites that are sacred to members of the three Abrahamic religions.[1] Palestine is distinguished by its geographical location as a connecting point between the continents of Africa and Asia, and because it was the focus of interest of many historical civilizations, including Canaanite, Egyptian, Babylonian, Assyrian, Greek, Phoenician, Roman, Christian and Islamic, which made it a civilizational and cultural model as a result of the mixing of peoples with each other. This left behind precious treasures of antiquities in addition to Its cities are tourist cities in themselves.[2]

Climate in Palestine

Palestine is affected by the Mediterranean climate, as it is characterized by dry and long summers and rainy, cold and short winters. January is considered the coldest month among all the months of the year, as temperatures in this month range between 5 to 10 degrees Celsius, and August is considered the coldest month of the year. The hottest month, as temperatures in this month range from 18 to 38 degrees Celsius, and rainfall is concentrated in the period between November and March, and the amount of rainfall decreases as they head towards the south of Palestine, as rainfall in the southern regions of Palestine is about 100 mm annually, while the rainfall rate in the northern region is about 1,100 mm annually.
